What to Expect on Your First Visit — Alpine CrossFit
First visit

What to expect.

Walking into a CrossFit gym for the first time is the hardest part. Here's exactly what happens, so none of it is a surprise.

★★★★★5.0 from 180 Google reviews·3 CF-L2 coaches

Two different first visits.

Which one you're booking changes what the day looks like, so it's worth knowing the difference before you arrive.

A free No Sweat Intro is a conversation, not a class. Thirty minutes with a CF-L2 coach: you'll tour the gym, talk through your goals and training history, and leave with a recommendation. You won't work out, so there's nothing to bring and nothing to be nervous about.

A drop-in is a real class. You'll train alongside members in a coached session, scaled to whatever you can do that day. Drop-ins are $30 and you can book and pay online before you arrive.

Common questions

Before you come in.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes, for your free No Sweat Intro. For a drop-in class, 24 hours notice is helpful but not required — text or call and we'll fit you in.
What do I bring?
Workout clothes, athletic shoes, a water bottle. We provide everything else — towels, sanitizing spray, modifications, and coaching.
What if I'm new to CrossFit?
Every class is scaled. Your coach will scale movements and weights to match your level, and no one will judge you for it — everyone in the room was new once.
Can I watch a class before I join?
Absolutely. Your No Sweat Intro includes a tour and time to sit and observe a class if you want to.

Need the address, hours, or parking? That's all on the Location & Hours page.

The fastest way to figure out if Alpine is right for you is to meet a coach in person. It's free, it's 30 minutes, and there's no pressure to join.
