What it is

A conversation. Not a class.

The No Sweat Intro is exactly what it sounds like — no workout, no physical assessment, no jumping into a class you don't yet know the rules of. It's 45 minutes of conversation with one of our CF-L2 coaches, in the gym, at a time that works for you.

You walk in. You get shown around. You sit down and talk through:

  • What you're looking to change about your fitness, your body, or your routine
  • Your training history, if any
  • Any injuries, limitations, or concerns
  • Your schedule and how often you can realistically come in

Your coach listens, asks follow-up questions, and recommends a starting point. That's it.

Why free

No catch. Here's the logic.

Most gyms sell memberships up front. We don't. At Alpine, we've found that the people who stay longest and get the best results are the ones who understood exactly what they were getting into before they signed up.

A free intro gets you that understanding. It gets us a conversation with someone who might be a good fit. Nobody owes anybody anything at the end.

The coach will not hand you a contract. Most people who do a No Sweat Intro end up joining Alpine, but many don't — and those members still recommend us to friends because the experience was real.

What happens after

Four common paths out of a No Sweat Intro.

Based on the conversation, your coach will typically recommend one of four starting points:

1. Foundations on-ramp

Private one-on-one sessions that teach you the core CrossFit movements before you join group classes. Most new members start here.

2. Group class membership

If you already have CrossFit experience or a strong training background, you may be ready to start in classes.

3. Personal training

If you have a specific injury, sport, or performance goal, one-on-one coaching may be the best path.

4. None of the above

Sometimes Alpine isn't the right fit. If that's the answer, we'll say so and point you toward a better option.
