Coach-led CrossFit classes in Wheat Ridge.
Every Alpine CrossFit class is led by a CF-L2 certified coach, capped at 15 athletes, and programmed in-house by Megan Markee (CSCS, 2× CrossFit Games Semifinalist). Scaled to every level — beginners through competitive athletes train in the same room.
What is a CrossFit class at Alpine like?
Every Alpine CrossFit class is a 60-minute coached session with five parts:
- Introduction (5 min): The coach explains the day's workout and talks through scaling options.
- General warm-up (10 min): Movement prep and mobility work.
- Strength or skill (15 min): Progressive barbell work or movement practice.
- Workout of the Day (20 min): Timed or scored metabolic conditioning.
- Cool-down (10 min): Recovery breathing, mobility, and accessory work.
A CF-L2 certified coach is on the floor for the entire hour. Scaling — load, range of motion, complexity — happens in real time based on your body and your experience.
How many people are in a class?
Every CrossFit class at Alpine is capped at 15 athletes. That keeps every member on the coach's radar and ensures real individual attention, even in our busiest hours. You will never be one of fifty bodies in a gym-class style room.
Who writes the workouts?
Every workout at Alpine is programmed in-house by Megan Markee — CSCS certified and a 2× CrossFit Games Semifinalist. Programming is constantly varied (true CrossFit methodology), not a franchise template, not a subscription service, and not a random WOD generator.
Megan trains at Alpine every day. She writes the programming, and she does the workouts herself — training alongside the members who do them with her. That keeps the programming honest and scaled appropriately for the range of athletes in the room.
Complete beginners through competitive athletes.
CrossFit classes at Alpine are scaled to every level. Your first class might look completely different from a competitive athlete's first class — and you would both be working at the right capacity for your body.
Every movement has regression and progression options. Your coach scales weight, reps, range of motion, and complexity in real time. Beginners are not held back; advanced athletes are not held back. Everyone trains the same workout, scaled to their version of hard.
How do you start CrossFit at Alpine?
Most new members start with Alpine's Foundations on-ramp — a private one-on-one series that teaches the core CrossFit movements before you join group classes. This keeps you safe, builds confidence, and makes your first group class better.
