Under new ownership, same standard.
Alpine CrossFit was founded in 2010. In 2016, Annie Brunner and Megan Markee took over — and over the next decade they grew Alpine into a gym with a fully professional coaching staff and a facility refined around a single goal: getting members better results than any gym around. In 2026, they passed the torch to April and Tori DiGiannantonio, who now own and lead the gym while preserving what makes Alpine, Alpine.
April brings a decade in fitness and sports performance. She opened her first CrossFit gym in Denver in 2013, later served as a Division I Director of Sports Performance for over five years, and holds the CSCS and SCCC credentials on top of her CrossFit certifications.
Tori comes at fitness from a different angle: a lifelong athlete and ultrarunner, a former firefighter and paramedic, and now a therapist (LCSW) and mental performance coach (CMPC) working primarily with first responders. Her work lives at the intersection of physical capacity and mental resilience.
Megan Markee remains as head programmer. Every workout Alpine members follow is written by Megan (2× CrossFit Games Semifinalist) in collaboration with April.
Three professional coaches. That's every class, every time.
Most gyms in the Denver metro rotate shift workers through a class schedule. Alpine doesn't. Every class is led by a CF-L2 certified professional coach. All three of our coaches are active CrossFit athletes. Lisa has qualified for the CrossFit Masters Semifinals.

Ownership in the room.
Alpine is owned by April and Tori DiGiannantonio, who train at the gym alongside members. April's collegiate S&C background and Tori's mental performance work are woven into the programming and the culture. Most gym owners either coach from the sidelines or aren't in the building. Alpine's are in the room.
In-house programming.
Every workout at Alpine is written by head programmer Megan Markee (2× CrossFit Games Semifinalist) in collaboration with owner April DiGiannantonio (CSCS, SCCC, former D1 Director of Sports Performance). No franchise templates. No random WOD generators.
All professional coaches.
Three CF-L2 trainers, several of them Semifinalists and Quarterfinalists. Alpine is the only gym in Wheat Ridge that can say that about its full coaching staff.
A community that spans every age.
Members range from their 20s through their 70s, with a dedicated Prime Vitality program for adults 55+. Our community is not a young-and-fit monoculture.
Who we're for.
Alpine is built for people who want coaching. Beginners who have never stepped into a CrossFit gym and don't know what a "clean" is. Lifelong athletes whose knees won't let them run anymore. Parents trying to get back in shape after kids. Retirees who want to keep picking up grandchildren. Competitive athletes chasing a Quarterfinals score.
If you want to train alone with a phone and headphones, there are plenty of gyms for that. If you want someone in your corner who actually knows your name and your goals, Alpine is built for you.
