Passing the torch — welcoming April & Tori as Alpine's new owners
After 10 years, Annie & Megan are passing Alpine to April & Tori DiGiannantonio. Membership, pricing, coaching, and programming are unchanged.
A note from Annie & Megan. After 10 incredible years of building this community with you, we've made the decision to pass the torch. Alpine is our heart and soul, so choosing to step aside has been gut-wrenching. At the same time, we've been looking to simplify and refocus on our family — and when we were presented with a succession plan that keeps the Alpine legacy alive long-term, we knew the timing was right. We're not disappearing; expect to see us sweating alongside you in these walls for years to come.
What this means for you:
- Membership — no changes, including payment method or pricing (regardless of facility upgrades).
- Coaching — regular coaching schedule remains unchanged.
- Programming — April & Megan will collaborate on Alpine's in-house programming. Formatting stays the same; new programs may be added over the coming months.
Now — please meet the new owners.
— Annie & Megan
Hi everyone — we're April and Tori, and we couldn't be more excited to be stepping in as the new owners of Alpine.
For the past ten-plus years, April has been in the fitness and sports performance industries, helping people chase down whatever they're after physically — whether that's a first pull-up, a podium finish, or just moving well for a long time. She opened her first CrossFit gym in Denver in 2013, grew it enough to expand into a larger location, and also owned and operated a CrossFit gym in the Conifer/Aspen Park area. She then made the intentional decision to sell both gyms and pursue a full-time career in collegiate strength and conditioning, where she's spent over five years coaching Division I athletes as a Director of Sports Performance. During that time, she coached softball, women's soccer, women's basketball, track & field, volleyball, and more. Along with her CrossFit certifications, she holds both the SCCC (CSCCa) and CSCS (NSCA) credentials — and she can't wait to bring that education and experience back to a community setting here at Alpine.
Tori comes at it from a different angle. She's a lifelong athlete and ultrarunner, a former firefighter and paramedic, and now a therapist (LCSW) and mental performance coach (CMPC) working primarily with first responders. She also teaches yoga with an athlete "flair" and can put on a real nice sound bath whenever you'd like. Her work lives at the intersection of physical capacity and mental resilience — which, as most of you know, is really what this sport is about.
Here's the most important thing we want you to hear: we're not here to change what has been built at Alpine. The community, the culture, the people — that's exactly why we felt good about this gym. Our goal is to protect it and help it grow, not remake it.
What is coming: some exciting equipment upgrades and facility renovations we think you're going to love. Also, some new classes (think strength + conditioning, HYROX, etc.). More details soon.
When we're not at the gym, you'll find us mountain biking, trail running, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, or camping somewhere — and you will absolutely meet our goldendoodles, Captain and Clover, who have never once considered that they might not be invited.
Please reach out anytime — our emails are included in the members' announcement, and there are no bad questions.
We can't wait to get to know all of you.
— April & Tori DiGiannantonio
