The Power Of Purpose
If a man knows not to which port he sails, no wind is favorable.
— Seneca, Moral Letters to Lucilius 71.3
Imagine stepping into the gym without a clear goal. You might wander from machine to machine, lift a few weights, but without a purpose, your effort is scattered, and progress elusive. The same applies to life outside the box: without a defined 'port,' every decision feels arbitrary, every challenge a random gust.
Knowing your destination, whether it's a new PR or a life aspiration, allows you to evaluate every action. It helps you decide what to pick up, what to put down, and where to direct your energy. Define your purpose, and suddenly, every effort becomes meaningful.
Today's challenge: Before your next WOD or important task today, take 30 seconds to clearly state your single most important goal for it.
