Practice, Not Perfection

Practice, Not Perfection

No man is a master from the start; but it is by learning that he becomes one, and by practicing what he has learned.

— Musonius Rufus, Lectures 16

Think about the first time you tried a snatch or a handstand walk. It wasn't pretty. It probably wasn't even close. But you showed up, you practiced, and you learned. Mastery isn't a gift; it's the cumulative effect of countless repetitions, failures, and adjustments.

Today, remember that every rep, every WOD, every moment you push yourself is a form of practice. It's not about being perfect now, but about consistently putting in the work to improve. Focus on the process, and trust that progress will follow.

Today's challenge: Pick one movement in today's workout that you find challenging, and commit to focusing on technique over speed or weight for every single rep.
