Master Your Own Mind
No man is free who is not master of himself.
— Epictetus, Discourses 4.1.1
That moment when the WOD gets tough, when your lungs burn and your muscles scream, that's where true strength is forged. It's not just about physical capacity; it's about the mental battle to keep going, to push past the discomfort, and to silence the voice that tells you to quit.
Your body is capable of far more than your mind often allows. Recognize that internal dialogue, that resistance. Today, when faced with a challenge, remember that your mind holds the reins. You are free to choose your response, to push through, or to give in.
Today's challenge: When the next set feels impossible, choose one more rep, not for the leaderboard, but to prove to yourself who's really in charge.
