Between the Reps
You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.
— Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Somewhere in a hard set the mind offers a deal: stop here, nobody will know, this is enough. It arrives at the same place every time, and it always sounds reasonable.
You don't have to win that argument. You only have to notice it as an argument, and then take the next rep anyway.
Today's challenge: Count how many times the thought of stopping arrives today. Just count it.
