When Lisa attended her first CrossFit class, she was motivated and intrigued by the way the athletes moved. She knew that CrossFit was going to be a perpetual challenge that she would grow to love. Soon after committing to her first CrossFit gym, Lisa quickly learned that CrossFit provides multifarious health aspects, and she knew she found her passion in coaching when she contributed to the growth of other athletes and saw their hard work and progress. With nine years of coaching experience, Lisa aspires to be the best coach she can be by guiding her athletes through difficult techniques and inspiring them to push their limits when the workouts seem insurmountable. Knowing that she gets to contribute to the members’ best part of their day is why she chooses to coach and why she comes ready to work every day. Lisa is excited about the potential at Alpine to grow as a coach and to watch the members grow as athletes. On a personal note, Lisa has a soft spot for animals. She and her wife foster dogs and have adopted animals of their own including one cat, four dogs, and one bunny. Not only does Lisa have a love for animals, but she also has an affinity for shoes. Lisa likes her things to be clean and tidy; this includes her 24 pairs of shoes. Lisa is happiest when she’s snacking and often fuels her workouts with gummy bears or cheesecake.
